Family History for Beginners

A newsletter reader asked today, “What is the best genealogy guide for beginners?” Actually, there are dozens of such guides available online. I don’t know which is “the best one” but the Family History for Beginners on FamilySearch.org at https://familysearch.org/learn/wiki/en/Family_History_for_Beginners certainly is a good one.

Another place to search for such guides is on Cyndi’s List at http://www.cyndislist.com/beginners.
