Cluster is a new web site that makes it possible to create private group spaces where you share photos and memories with the people you care about. Create a space with family, a group of friends, co-workers, people from your hometown, or anyone else. It’s great for new moms, sharing photos of a new baby with close friends and family, sharing old family photographs with distant cousins, and for sharing memories with friends that you don’t wish to share publicly.
Cluster is primarily a photo sharing site for Android and iOS (iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch) mobile devices. It also includes video and notes, along with feedback from your invited members. It focuses on privacy and security.
The program is really a private social network for photo and video sharing. It is good for everything from family photos to pictures shared by fraternities and sororities which might not be appropriate on a more public network like Facebook. The person posting the images can also see who viewed the photos and who liked them.
You can create a Cluster online space, upload a few photos and videos into an album, and then invite friends and family to view the photos and videos. The people you invite can then add their own photos to the same album. For instance, think of last year’s Christmas party where many people were snapping photos with their cell phones. There are probably a dozen or more ways for everyone to share their photos with everyone else. Cluster simply tries to be the easiest method.
You can find many photo sharing apps. Cluster differentiates itself by the use of industrial grade security and by being very easy to use.
Cluster is available free of charge in Google Play and in iTunes. You can learn more about Cluster at https://cluster.co/.
