An Announcement About Family Tree University’s 7th Virtual Conference with a Special Discount for EOGN Readers

The following announcement was written by the folks at F+W Media, Inc.:

Attend a Genealogy Conference From Home!
Early bird discount to Family Tree University’s 7th Virtual Conference ends Friday

If cost, distance or poor timing prevented you from attending a genealogy conference this year, then this is the opportunity for you. For a fraction of the cost it takes to travel to and attend a live event, Family Tree University’s Fall 2014 Virtual Conference provides attendees with an all-access pass to 15 half-hour video sessions presented by the same experts you’d pay an arm and a leg to see speak at a regular conference, all online, from the convenience of home.

Enjoy all three days, Friday, Sept. 19, at 9 a.m. through Sunday, Sept. 21, from the comfort of your bed, desk chair, couch or coffee shop–wherever you have internet access. Between message board discussions and live chats, you’ll have ample opportunity to engage with fellow genealogy enthusiasts. You’ll also receive a “swag bag” of genealogy freebies from ShopFamilyTree.com.

How long, you ask, will these great research materials be available to you?

Forever. That’s how long you will get to keep all the videos and chat transcripts. Download them to your desktop and use for future reference, whether that’s in two months or two years! See a full program and find out how to register at http://www.familytreeuniversity.com/virtual-conference.

As a special early bird offer for Eastman’s Online Genealogy Newsletter readers, save $55 at checkout with coupon code EASTMAN14, good through Friday. Aug. 15 at 11:59 PM.

Your newsletter arrived in my e-mail post on the morning of August 18th – there is no way I could take advantage of the Eastman coupon for Early Bird Discount of the virtual conference by August 15th!?

All articles about discounts and other special offers are posted on the http://www.EOGN.com web site as soon as I learn of them. A weekly version of the newsletter will occasionally carry details about a 3-day or 5-day special offer that has already expired by the time the email is finally sent. I guess the “cure” is to either check the web site more often or to subscribe to the (free) daily email messages at http://blog.eogn.com/standard-edition/
