$1,000 Reward Offered for an Historic Photograph – If It Exists

Shawn Adamsson is looking for a photograph taken between 1887 and 1899 of the 19th-century London, Ontario, railway turntable building with locomotives in the shot. Can you help?

Built in 1887, the Horton St. building serviced steam locomotives. It’s now in the final stages of being renovated into a hub for London tech companies, including rTraction, where Adamsson is a vicepresident. Adamsson wants to display the photo inside the renovated building during the Doors Open London event in the fall.

Bicyclists, motorcyclists, photographers, steam engine buffs, model train buffs all have clubs of some kind. While the cyclists are unlikely to be of any help, the others may be just the ticket–just in case this hasn’t already been thought of. Lee Lewis, Clovis, California
