For years I have published articles that I have written and occasionally articles written by others within my weekly newsletter. The recent change in format has made possible another benefit for both Standard and Plus Edition readers. Now it’s easier than ever to find all the latest genealogy-related news stories as they appear online. Just go to http://blog.eogn.com and get the full stories from the column on the right, headlined "Other Genealogy News."
The "Other Genealogy News" section was initiated a few weeks ago. However, the initial page design had the menu hidden so far down the main page that readers had to scroll down two or three times to find it. I have now changed the layout of the primary page at http://blog.eogn.com. You will now find the "Other Genealogy News" section prominently displayed in the top right corner.
Every day I find genealogy articles on the Web and post links to them. Most days there are four to perhaps eight or ten such articles. All of them are posted on other Web sites; I only publish the links to them. By checking those links every few days, you can keep up to date on all the genealogy-related news.
By the way, I am a bit liberal in the definition of "genealogy-related news." I will include links to news stories about libraries, archives, museums, DNA and genetics, software, history, and other things that I find interesting. Those links are updated more or less daily.
