GHCS Software releases PAF Support for GEDSTAR PRO for Palm Handhelds
GHCS Software announces the release of the "PAF 5 Extension for GedStar Pro". GedStar Pro is the most advanced viewer for genealogy data on a PalmOS handheld PDA, but has previously only supported users of "The Master Genealogist". This add-on product now makes GedStar Pro's features available to the many users of "Personal Ancestral File" V5. GedStar Pro uses GenBridge(tm) technology developed by Wholly Genes, Inc. to directly extract as much data as possible directly from the native genealogy database, skipping the inconvenient GEDCOM export step that most other products require. It can also extract more data and extract it more accurately than is possible using GEDCOM."GedStar Pro has been extremely well received by The Master Genealogist users with Palm Pilots," says Doug Gordon of GHCS Software. "Now with this add-on we can give PAF users the same quick and easy way to get their data onto their PDAs and carry it with them everywhere."
