BBC2 has commissioned a second series of its autumn ratings hit, the genealogy series Who Do You Think You Are? Wall to Wall Television will produce six more one-hour programmes, each featuring different celebrities unravelling their own family roots.
The series has proved to be BBC2's biggest draw of the year, averaging 5 million viewers per episode. It has also generated a lot of interest in genealogy with traffic to a special family tree section on the BBC website at http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/familyhistory/ more than doubling following the first show.
