For more than eight years I
have been writing newsletter articles about genealogy software, web sites,
conventions, current events, and other topics that I found interesting. Thanks
to the new blog format for this newsletter, I can now offer double or triple
the amount of genealogy news every week.
If you go to this
newsletter's web site, you will find a section entitled Other Genealogy News. There you will find links to other
genealogy-related news articles form other sites on the web. These are articles
written by many different people and published on many different web sites that
might elude some readers. The links to the other genealogy-related articles is
updated daily. Readers should also be aware that some news services remove
their articles rather quickly; which means that (1.) you should read those
articles that interest you as soon as possible to avoid missing them, and (2.)
links for articles that have been removed will no longer work.
The "Other Genealogy
News" section has appeared only on the Web site http://blog.eogn.com. However, this week I
thought I would give a "snapshot" of the articles listed at the time
