The following is an announcement from a new television special. I noticed the name of Tony Burroughs, a well-known genealogy teacher, author and lecturer. Tony has been mentioned many, many times in past editions of this newsletter:
Premieres Easter Sunday, March 27, 2005
Discovery Channel 9-11pm EST/PST 8-10pm CST
This two-hour special follows the search of detective genealogist, Tony Burroughs, as he seeks to determine the family of Jesus -- who they were, how many there were, and what role they may have played in his life. Burroughs' findings from the gospels, historians and archaeologists challenge the traditional belief that Jesus was the single child of Mary and Joseph and provide evidence suggesting Jesus had a vast family network that inspired and supported him from childhood to death, and beyond.
