This is just a quick note to let you know that I will be traveling this week. I will be attending the annual conference of the U.S. National Genealogical Society. This year's event is being held in Nashville, Tennessee. You can read my earlier article about the conference here. I will be traveling with a laptop computer and a handheld PDA, both of which have built-in wireless networking. I am planning to be connected while in Nashville and posting articles to the daily edition of this newsletter most days. I will also have a digital camera with me and hope to post some pictures from the conference as well.
However, if gremlins should arise, there is always a chance of hardware failures, network incompatibilities, or simply dead batteries. I also know that I will be busy on some days from 8:00 AM until well into the evening. Don't be surprised if I miss a day or two in posting new articles, possibly even the whole week.
