Friends of Bob Quintin will want to know that he has moved and has taken his business with him to Florida.
I first met Bob years ago when he ran a tiny, one-person business in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. He republished old French-Canadian genealogy books. As the years went by, his business grew, and he hired employees. As technologies shifted, he switched to republishing on CD-ROM and then expanded the books being republished. Quintin Publications now produces CD-ROM copies of all sorts of genealogy, historical, and other books.
Quoting from the Quintin Publications web site:
As with most things this moving project is taking more time than we have anticipated. Between unloading 3 trailers full of business and household supplies; getting some storage units, setting up bedrooms to contain the office (2 used at this time); setting up the garage to house the shipping and order department; finding an electrician to set up new lines for the copy, and, last but not least, getting a new doctor and going back on chemotherapy. This has taken quite a bit out of us here but we should be up and running by Monday of next week (1 August or 4 August for printed books). We have been swamped with orders and are currently getting out most of the CD orders. The books are another issue and we should begin with those next please. Please be patient during this trying time.

I would like to wish Bob the best of luck with his business. Noting the comment about chemotherapy, I also wish him the best of luck with that battle as well.
