Gerry Charitable Trust recently awarded $20,000 to the Huguenot Historical Society of New Paltz, NY to restore the north wall of the Jean Hasbrouck House, which is separating from its internal support structure and threatening to collapse.
The donation is a partial match to a $250,000 grant awarded previously by the National Park Service's "Save America's Treasures Program." The Huguenot Historical Society still needs to raise $165,000 to complete the full match. To donate, contact HHS archivist Eric Roth at eric@huguenotstreet.org.
