Genealogy Tech Podcast
It seems that genealogy podcasts are popping up everywhere. The Genealogy Tech Podcast is a new podcast geared toward genealogists/family researchers who want to learn the basics of using a PC, as well as how to use some of the latest software, hardware, and Internet based applications in their genealogical research. The Genealogy Tech Podcast is produced by Bill Puller.
In addition to the podcast, Bill is producing screencast "how to" video tutorials on various subjects. There is already one available on the tutorial page of the Web site. Bill is asking listeners to submit suggestions for future podcast topics they would like to know more about.
The Genealogy Tech Podcast is brand new. As I write these words, only one podcast is available: the very first one. I listened to it and was impressed by Bill Puller's presentation techniques. I suspect this is going to turn out to be a popular offering.
The Genealogy Tech Podcast can be found at http://genealogytechpodcast.com.

Hi Dick,
Promised you an update. As an Apple user with an ipod I went to iTunes where I was able to subscribe for free to your podcasts as well as the podcasts of GenealogyGuys and Bill Puller. I found these by entering genealogy into the podcast search engine. Now everytime a new podcast comes out it is automatically being delivered to iTunes in my computer.
What a treat!

Thanks for the feedback. I am delighted to know that it is now working. It took them long enough... I registered the podcasts on iTunes more than a week ago.
