I'll be traveling this week; so, don't be surprised if the daily updates to the web site are delayed a bit. I suspect I'll be a bit busy. I will be in Rosemont, Illinois, attending the annual conference of the National Genealogical Society. This promises to be a large conference.
Many companies choose to introduce new genealogy services and products at this annual conference. I plan to see what is new and to report on items I find daily on the newsletter's web site. I'll have my digital camera along and hope to post pictures on http://www.eogn.com daily. It is also possible that a new podcast or two will appear during the week as I interview people "on microphone" about their new products.
If you are able to be in Rosemont any time from June 7 through 10, drop by the Hyatt Regency O'Hare. Remember that you may visit the Exhibitors' Hall free of charge. You only need to pay money if you wish to attend presentations or other activities.
When you enter the Exhibitors' Hall, swing to the far right and look for Booth 809 along the wall. There should be a large black banner in the booth that says, "Eastman's Online Genealogy Newsletter." I'll be there, promoting this newsletter and hoping to meet as many subscribers as possible. Please stop by to say "Hello."
If you cannot make it to Rosemont this week, keep an eye on http://www.eogn.com to see what you missed.
You can read more about the conference at http://www.ngsgenealogy.org.
