Podcast: Clooz 2.0 interview with Liz Kerstens
Podcast: An interview with Liz Kerstens discussing Clooz version 2.0. Clooz is a Windows XP database for systematically storing all of the clues to your ancestry that you've been collecting over the years. This is not another genealogy program! It is an electronic filing cabinet that assists you with search and retrieval of important facts you've found during the ancestor hunt. You can listen to this 37-minute interview using any modern computer that has either speakers or headphones attached. It can also be downloaded to an iPod or other portable music player. To listen to the interview, click on the "play" button located to the left of the long bar below. To download, click on the link for "MP3 File."

Elizabeth Kelley Kerstens is a Certified Genealogist (CG) and a Certified Genealogical Lecturer (CGL).

I am trying to listen to your podcasts, but without much success! By clicking on the appropriate link in your newsletter, and then on the play button, I can start the podcast. However, after a few minutes the broadcast ceases, and I am then unable to restart the podcast. Can you throw any light on this pproblem?

I must admit that I have no idea. Have you been able to listen to other podcasts?
You also might click on the link that says "MP3 file" and download the entire interview to your hard drive. You can then later listen to the file at your leisure.

Dick, The podcast shut off for me also. At the point where you and Liz are discussing the space required for Clooz. Liz said ".....most of us have gigabytes" and you responded "I don't think....." That's where it ended. I will try downloading the interview.

Dick,
I clicked on the MP3 FILE link and it immediately played through to the end in AOl Media Player mode. Great interview. I already have the new CLOOZ but was intimidated to begin using it. Liz explains the program in layman terms.
Thanks,

I just listened to the entire 37-minute Liz Kerstens podcast again. I clicked on the PLAY icon on the left end of the long bar above. It played back perfectly; there was no pause or gaps or interruptions. I am convinced the copy stored online is error-free.
For anyone having difficulties listening to this or any other podcasts here, the first thing you need to do is to see if you can listen to other podcasts. Luckily, there are thousands to choose from. You can find many of them if you click here: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=%22listen+to+this+podcast%22&btnG=Search
If you can listen to other podcasts but not the ones on this web site, then the problem is on this web site. However, if you cannot hear other podcasts then the problem is on your end.
