DEADLINE EXTENDED TO February 7, 2007
The FGS 2008 Conference in Philadelphia has extended the deadline for the call for papers. The new deadline is February 7, 2007.
Immigration and migration topics are sought-especially specific to Philadelphia’s role as the No. 1 port of entry in the 18th century. Migration routes of African Americans from the Gulf States, Germans to America, the early Swedes, and other topics concerning Mid-Atlantic people and cultures are encouraged.
One-half hour lecture spots also will be offered.
