The Historical Society of Pennsylvania is looking for a Genealogical Librarian. The position will be a member of the library staff, and is primarily responsible for providing genealogical and other research and reference assistance, to on- and off-site patrons. This is a full-time position [40 hours/week].
The position requires a master's degree in American History, American Studies, or Library Science (M.L.S. preferred), knowledge of (and a minimum of 3 years experience with) genealogical research, collections, and organizations; strong organization, communication and writing skills; desire to work with and serve the general public; familiarity with a variety of computer applications
