Yes, although the satellite connection is slow and also is expensive. Last year (on the same cruise line) it was 50 cents per minute. You will want to use an e-mail program that logs on, quickly grabs all your e-mail and then disconnects, allowing you to read your e-mail and compose replies offline at your leisure. I found that I could get about 50 e-mail messages in four minutes, still expensive but not nearly as bad as staying online to read and write.
