I am off to Hawaii! I will be gone for three weeks. For the first two weeks, I'll be on a cruise ship, traveling with a bunch of other genealogists. I cannot think of a better place to be. I'll be joining the Legacy Genealogy Cruise 2007, sponsored by the producers of Legacy Family Tree software. This is shaping up to be a grand event. We are sailing from Vancouver, British Columbia, to Hawaii. Once we reach the islands, the ship will cruise from island to island for about a week. We will visit Kona, Maui, Hilo, and Honolulu. Details may be found at http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/CruiseInfo_2007.asp.
After the cruise, I'll stay in Hawaii a few extra days. I am then taking a long route home, stopping by the 32nd Annual Family History Workshop in Moorhead, Minnesota, on October 6. The workshop is sponsored by the Heritage Education Commission, part of the Minnesota State University Moorhead. Details of that workshop may be found at http://www.mnstate.edu/heritage/2007NewsRelease.pdf.
