The Family History Library in Salt Lake City will be closed this coming Saturday, February 2d in memory of Gordon B. Hinckley, the President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, who passed away earlier this week.

President Hinckley's vision and direction is largely responsible for the forward progress of the Family History department into the technological age.

There will also be no phone support in North America for FamilySearch. Patrons can still send in e-mail but it will probably not be answered before Monday.
