George G. Morgan and Drew Smith recorded an interesting video for RootsTelevision.com called "Down Under." This program features the long-lasting memories illustrated by tombstones.
The new video is the first of three episodes and features a beautifully inter-racial story in Tampa from 1850 to the early 1870s. George and Drew then did some research to find more information about this couple. George and Drew reveal that information in this fascinating video.
Anyone who likes cemeteries (and what genealogist doesn't?) should like this one!

That's me and a 3rd cousin once removed with my great great great grandfather's stone in Preston, Berwickshire, Scotland.
All attempts to find out where George Moffat came from have so far yielded nothing :-((

I heard about this website from the Genealogy Guys podcast, to which I just started listening. This website is great, as are the GG. The story of the Ashleys was quite touching. Thank you for uncovering this true-love story.
