This is great Dick, this material fills out much more information on his tree. Also thank you Robert Lewis for your link to Obama's mother Social Security file under the comments of the Hickok article. We are busy gathering up documentation for both candidates!

Thanks.

Interesting, but where is the connection Between Fulmoth Kearney and Barack Obama??

1. Fulmoth "Falmouth" Kearney, married Charlotte Holloway
2. their daughter, Mary Ann Kearney (1869-1936), married Jacob William Dunham
3. their son, Ralph Waldo Emerson Dunham (1894-1970), married Ruth Lucille Armour
4. their son, Stanley Armour Dunham (1918-1992), married Madelyn Lee Payne
5. their daughter, Stanley Ann Dunham (1942-1995), married Barack Hussein Obama
6. their son is Senator Barack Hussein Obam, Jr. (b. 1961)

Is there a link to John McCain's Ancestry ot perhaps that of Barack Hussein Obama Sr's?

A draft of McCain's genealogy is at www.wargs.com/political/mccain.html

An article about McCain and Obama's ancestry by Gary Boyd Robert and myself will be appearing in the fall issue of New England Ancestors magazine. Barack Sr.'s patrilineal line is mentioned:

Barack Senior was the son of Onyango, later Hussein Onyango Obama, and his wife Akumu, and grandson paternally, by his wife Nyaoke, of Obama, son of Opiyo, son of Okoth, son of Obongo, son of Otondi, son of Ogelo, son of Kisodhi, son of Owiny, son of Sigoma, son of Miwiru – see Obama’s Dreams From My Father [1995, 2004], 394-404 esp)

My husbands family links to the Holloways in Ohio, but I cannot find Baraks grandmother Charlotte on our tree. Our family ties were from Va. to Ohio and settlement in Deerfield Twnshp. Any idea who Charlotte's parents were? That would tie up some loose ends. Thanks.
