NYG&B to Move Headquarters
The New York Genealogical and Biographical Society has announced the society headquarters will be relocating to 36 W. 44th St., New York City, in the spring of 2009.
As announced some months ago, the Society's library and other collections will be transferred to the New York City Public Library.
Everything about this move, selling of the original historical building, future plans, location of records has been swaddled in subterfuge. Why all the spy/counter spy with members? Those considering membership disregard it as an option. I mean, really, what does it have to offer the genealogical community any more? What happened to the members who purchased lifetime memberships?
Where is NYG&BS located now, today?
Where are the records now, today?
