Video: Report from the Family History Expo in Mesa, Arizona
I had the opportunity to attend the recent Family History Expo held in Mesa, Arizona. I must say that enjoyed the event. One of the things I enjoyed most was describing the Expo during an interview with Lisa Louise Cook of the Genealogy Gems Podcasts. Lisa supposedly was interviewing me although I think it turned out to be more of a two-way conversation.

Dick, do you happen to know the make and model of the microphone shown on this video podcast? I thought the quality of the audio was great. Thanks, Dunham Swift

Look closely at the video. The microphone in use was held in Lisa's hand. I don't know the brand. The bigger "microphone" that is visible in front with the "On The Air" sign was a dummy, a prop.

Mesa was terrific! It was a lot of fun interviewing you and learning more about the origins of your newsletter. Your readers can listen to the interview in it's entirety on my other podcast Family History: Genealogy Made Easy Episode 4 at http://personallifemedia.com/podcasts/415-family-history
Looking forward to seeing you at the next FHE. Lisa Louise Cooke

Lisa wrote back to me an indicated it was an Olympus digital voice recorder DS-30 for those who might be interested. Thanks, Dunham
