The Western North Carolina Historical Association will present its Outstanding Achievement Award to Dr. George A. Jones at the Henderson County Genealogical and Historical Society's monthly meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday at 400 North Main St., Hendersonville, NC.
Jones is being honored for his more than 25 years of work in promoting and preserving the history of Henderson County.
