The Kansas African American Museum has been notified of a $25,000 grant to establish a state-wide history and genealogy program. The money comes from the Chester and Ada Franklin Scholarship Fund and co-trustees Bank of America and Samuel L. Adams.
The grant also will fund website upgrades, a public research area at the museum and workshops featuring genealogy experts.
