I will be at the seminar as I have the honor of being one of the presenters. I will be joined by many other presenters: Thilo C. Agthe, Beth Bensman, Harry Benson, Gail Benson, Bernie Cedar, Deborah Large Fox, Martine Green, Michael Hait, David Haugaard, Robert House, Sandra M. Hewlett, Shamele Jordon, Catherine Medich, Trish Mirarchi, Floyd Riley, Stephen Schecter, and Alice Young. That's quite a list of speakers!
The schedule of subjects is much too long to list here. I'll simply say that it includes such topics as How to Begin Your Genealogy, Introduction to The National Archives in Philadelphia, Tracing Your Revolutionary War Ancestors, Jewish Genealogy Research, Using Steve Morse's One-step Web Page, Using the Internet to Find Who is in That Old Photo, and much, much more. A full list is available at http://www.mafhc.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=59&Itemid=64.
You can also submit your own brick-wall question and possibly win a door prize. Your question will be forwarded to the brick-wall panelists. The panel will review each question and evaluate the best questions for a general audience. They will then address selected questions during the last session of the conference, starting at 3:00pm. You may submit as many questions as desired (please submit each individually). You must be registered for the conference to submit your question. The best brick-wall questions (determined by the organizers) will receive membership prizes from Ancestry.com and Footnote.com.
The Conference is sponsored by the Family History Centers of Southern New Jersey and will be held at the Cherry Hill Family History Center, located within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 252 E. Evesham Road, Cherry Hill NJ 08003.
Admission is a rather modest $12, which even includes lunch as well as admission to all classes. You can learn more at http://www.mafhc.org.
I'll see you in Cherry Hill on Saturday!
