Dick -- what do you know about the people behind this? Who are they; how long in this business? Ms. Brandy Sacco, the creator of this, uses Seanergy Softech (run by Peter Sacco, probably her husband?) for the computer and software technology; it seems to be a company located either in Britain or in India. They tout their "off shore" capabilities. But I note some disturbing spelling mistakes; and they don't know how to use the apostrophe properly.
On another level -- how do they compare to TNG? (I have not tried to set up my own website using TNG because I am daunted by the complexities of it all; TNS seems to involve endless tweaking to get it to work well.) Does ourFamily-ology solve those issues? Is it really capable of handling detailed research notes, displaying relevant media (photos), etc?

As I mentioned at the beginning of the article, "I have only looked at this web site for a few minutes..."
That is all I know about the site.

Hi Dick -- yes, I saw that you had "only looked at the web site for a few minutes." What I was implying by my questions was, since you did mention them, whether you would follow up with more investigation? You have the resources and contacts to determine whether these folks are really credible and reliable.
I can add that I did send them a question about their policy re living persons, and a got a thoughtful response within a couple of hours. That's encouraging. Thanks. Bill
