Professional archivist Melissa Mannon will present a free workshop on April 8 at 7 p.m. at the Waltham library, 735 Main St., Waltham, Massachusetts.
Preserving Memories: Maintaining Family Photographs and Memorabilia will teach participants how to properly preserve photographs, letters, personal records, and other historical documents. The workshop will include other "secrets," such as preventing documents from turning yellow and sparing papers from the fluctuating temperatures of basements, attics, and garages.
