I would like to thank the Indiana Genealogical Society for inviting me to speak at their annual conference, held this weekend at the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It was a good group.
I shared the speakers' platform with some true experts: Melissa Shimkus, Curt Witcher, and Kay Spears. I am not sure of the final headcount, but I can report it was an enthusiastic group.

My travel was uneventful. The nearby Hilton Hotel was nice and even had free wi-fi networking available. Free wi-fi is unusual for a Hilton. All planes flew on time and there were no surprises. I rather enjoyed using the on-board wi-fi on American Airlines. I used my new Apple iPad both ways while in the air. I noted several other passengers also were using iPads as well. The iPad much more convenient than the typical laptop when you are squeezed into an airline seat.
