Des Moines, Iowa to Open 100-Year-Old Time Capsule

Crews freed a 100-year-old time capsule from the Des Moines City Hall building on Saturday and plan to open it on Friday.

The capsule was sealed in the cornerstone of the Municipal Building at 400 East First Street. It was placed inside the cornerstone on June 14, 1910 and will be opened on Friday, May 21.
