Eagle County, Colorado Library Honors JoAnn Potter Riggle for Genealogy Work

JoAnn Potter Riggle, who has done extensive work on genealogy in Eagle County, has won the 2010 Nimon-Walker Award from the Eagle Valley Library District and the Eagle County Historical society.

Riggle has researched many local family trees and created a Web presence for this information. Her photo documentation of Eagle County cemetery headstones continues and is currently being added to the library district's collection of historical photos.


“Every cemetery marker that I could get to, I photographed,” said Riggle.
