National Archives CIO Martha Morphy Retires

Martha Morphy, Assistant Archivist for Information Services and the Chief Information Officer at the National Archives and Records Administration is retiring, effective July 2, 2010.

Archivist of the United States David Ferriero made the announcement Tuesday morning.

Charles Piercy, Deputy CIO, will be Acting Assistant Archivist for Information Services and Acting CIO, until a permanent replacement is named.
