A small Knoxville publishing company has pumped out more than 800 histories of people and organizations from all over the country for the past 20 years, but it has gone largely unnoticed by the Knoxville market.
Dwain and Margaret Kitchel's Tennessee Valley Publishing is one of only about 80 or so companies in the country doing their kind of business - publishing family histories, genealogy books, city and county histories, and institutional and church histories.
But it's all coming to an end. They're phasing out their business and retiring (again).
