At today's FDA public meeting regarding Oversight of Laboratory Developed Tests (LDTs), Katherine Borges, Director of the International Society of Genetic Genealogy (ISOGG), spoke against proposed legislation to expand FDA authority to include non-medical DNA testing. Katherine represents a 7,000-member organization spread throughout the US and 60 other countries. Hopefully, her words will be noticed by the legislators.
