Thanks to an online genealogy database, 42-year-old James Freeman Connell discovered that his father was not killed in Viet Nam, as the family had believed. Connell's wife and her genealogist cousin discovered that information within an hour of going online. A few days later, they found the man and talked to him on the telephone.
