I am packing my bags. By the time you read this, I should be on a plane to Calgary, Alberta. That's if the plane flies at all, unlike my LAST scheduled airline trip on Delta Airlines! Three weeks ago, I spent an extra day in Fort Lauderdale because of Delta's aircraft maintenance problems.
I will be attending this weekend's Alberta Family Histories Society's Conference being held in Calgary. If you can join all of us on Saturday, you might enjoy it. Details of the conference may be found at http://www.afhs.ab.ca/familyroots and at http://www.luxegen.ca/genealogy/our-visitors-lyn-thomas-dick/
On Sunday I will fly from Calgary to Salt Lake City and will be there for nearly another week. My primary purpose is to attend a couple of meetings but I am hoping to also get to the library there at least two, maybe three times during the week as well.
I'll be back home about a week and a half from now.
As always, I'll add in the disclaimer that newsletter articles and the weekly Plus Edition newsletter may be late for the next week and a half. In fact, I am certain that Sunday evening's mailing of the Plus Edition will be delayed, as I will (hopefully) be on board Delta Airlines at that time. However, the Plus Edition newsletter will be sent as soon as I get some time and an Internet connection.
