Ancestry.com went public about a year ago with shares selling at $16.10 on opening day. If you purchased the stock at that time, you probably are now feeling smug about your investment. The stock has climbed steadily in the past year, and opened this morning at $29.72, an 84.5% gain in about one year.
Genealogy apparently is good business!
