Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire council archives have now been placed online. There are 46 collections consisting of 23,300 entries including school records,parochical board, poor relief and burlal registers and miltia records.
The city of Aberdeen has the oldest and most complete sets of burgh records in Scotland, starting in 1398. They can be viewed at http://www.aberdeencity.gov.uk/archivecataloge
