After 41 years, the Parker County, Texas Genealogical Society is no longer sifting through decades-old records or reading through 100-year-old microfiche.
Those left of the 37 charter members decided a few months ago to disband after failing health decreased the group’s numbers and the lack of new, younger members joining the organization.
