If you are a history buff and also have an interest in technology, you might be interested in watching The President's Book of Secrets tonight on the History Channel. The program promises to take viewers on a journey inside White House history to unveil staggering information about secrets known only to the President, from top-secret intelligence and classified events to covert codes and future technologies.
The President’s Book of Secrets played a prominent role in the popular movie, National Treasure: Book of Secrets starring Nicolas Cage. Apparently, this is no product of movie fiction. Although it is highly unlikely that there is a specific book filled with all kinds of presidential secrets, there is no doubt that the president is privy to information that must remain top secret. In this film the question of a specific book is not as important as the kinds of secrets that are passed from one president to another. Undoubtedly, there are secrets only a few people on earth know, but the idea that they are written in one book is highly unlikely.
We can only speculate about the secrets known to each president. Aliens? Flying saucers? The truth about the JFK assassination? Is time travel possible? Where is the Holy Grail?
The President’s Book of Secrets premiers Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 9 pm Eastern Time on the History Channel. Check your local listings for the exact time in your area.
