James Hollas had a great Saturday. He attended the RootsTech conference and then went to the EOGN Dinner, where he won not one, but two, door prizes. First he won one of the one-year subscriptions to the Plus Edition of Eastman's Online Genealogy Newsletter. Actually, he is already a subscriber, so his present subscription is being extended for an additional twelve months.
Next, all the winning slips from earlier door prizes were placed back into "the hat" for the final drawing of the night. This time, the prize was an Apple iPad. The winner was... (insert drum roll here) ...James Hollas!
James later wrote in an email message, "I thought I was in hog heaven getting the year of Plus but to then win the iPad, well that was almost too much. It's nice to have the Plus to make it look like I know what I am doing."
