The Lancashire Family History & Heraldry Society has just published the 1851 map of Lancashire.
This map of Lancashire 1851 is a MUST for anyone researching their Lancashire roots as it shows:
The map was first produced by Andrew Todd in 1983 and has been out of print for many years. With Andrew’s help the Lancashire Family History & Heraldry Society has reprinted the map and is now available A1 size £7.50 (plus p&p: UK £2.51; Overseas £3.65 – postage includes dispatched rolled in a cardboard protective tube). A digital version is also available on CD £5.00 (plus p&p: UK £1.10; Overseas £2.10).
- Registration Districts of Births, Marriages & Deaths
- Registration Sub-Districts
- Parishes
- Townships
- Churches: all Anglican churches in existence in 1851 with their dedications and dates of their earliest registers.
