PAWriter for Macintosh Version 97 Released

PAW Howard Metcalfe has announced that version 97 (universal binary) of Personal Ancestry Writer II, aka PAWriter, has been released. Changes from version 96 include:

  • Removed leading commas from GEDCOM export of place names.
  • Removed .paw from .paw.ged file name extension.
  • The extension .paw is now added to untitled files when they are first saved.

Note: For maximum interoperability, all PAWriter data files should end in the extension .paw. Any other extension should be removed and .paw added.
