It's time to digitize this book collection! A couple in Pike Lake, Saskatchewan, southwest of Saskatoon, recently acquired a large book collection from the widow of a recently-deceased neighbor. "Large" is the operative word here: about 350,000 books, weighing 30 tons.
The couple took the books home, no small feat in itself. It took three days to pack the baseball books alone into boxes and five days for the bibles and religious texts.
Now there is a new problem: the weight of the books is pulling the house apart.
