I would like to thank the Ohio Genealogical Society for the invitation to speak at the society's fall seminar on Saturday. I made several presentations and enjoyed the day. I even had fun with my talk on "Maine Outhouses I Have Known and Loved." I dare say that was not the normal presentation made at genealogy seminars! Ask anyone who was there.
About 100 people came in out of the cold and rain in order to learn more about several genealogy topics. I hope they enjoyed the day. I know I did.
I also learned that the Ohio Genealogical Society holds many seminars, workshops, and other presentations throughout the year. The society will even hold a "boot camp" next week and I was told that space is still available. To see what this very active society is planning in the next few months, look at http://www.ogs.org/
