I have recently published a few articles about the new Sprint 3G/4G MiFi 4082 Wireless “hotspot.” This device allows wireless high-speed Internet connections anyplace where Sprint Cellular provides data connections. It works with laptop computers, tablets, and most cell “smartphones” alike. I travel often and have used the "hotspot" frequently in my motor home, in airport terminals, and in hotels that charge outrageous fees to access the hotel's wi-fi network. I love the 4G speeds that are now available in most urban areas. When outside of 4G coverage areas, it "downshifts" to 3G.
In my earlier articles, I promised to add any new information that became available. In the October 23rd, 2011 Plus Edition newsletter, I described the new pricing that Sprint introduced for the 3G/4G Wireless Modem. That article is still available today in the Plus Edition newsletter's web site at http://eogn.com/wp/?p=18038. (All Plus Edition articles remain online for a few weeks, but not forever.)
Now I can report even more news. However, this news also isn't good. It cost me $96.65 to fix a new problem.
