I had a fun time Saturday, making four presentations at the annual Bend Genealogical Society Spring Seminar in Bend, Oregon. It was a good-sized crowd, which surprised me since it was a beautiful spring day. I would have thought everyone would have been enjoying the weather outdoors. This group was very receptive to the presentations I offered on a variety of technical topics.
I would like to thank everyone involved in putting on Saturday's event with special thanks to Jinny Collins and Teddie Allison who both made sure my needs were met.
The Bend Genealogical Society is an active group that always puts a lot of effort into its annual spring seminars. The society also hosts monthly meetings as well as "First Tuesday" mentoring sessions to assist genealogy newcomers with their research.
