GenDetectiveTM: Tells you what you DON’T KNOW and what you need to FIND!
Plumsteadville, Pennsylvania (May 8, 2012) – RumbleSoft Incorporated, supplier of innovative solutions for genealogists has released GenDetectiveTM Version 1.5. NGS attendees will be able to view demonstrations of the new software at booth # 412. Additionally RumbleSoft will demonstrate GenDetective’s latest features on Thursday May 10th at 1:00pm and Friday May11th at 10:30am on Stage B.
GenDetective version 1.5 moves beyond the very basic "what data am I missing and where would I find it", GenDetective is now a very useful way of looking for very particular items or issues in your database and helping you find and correct them.
New personal research goals, with user configurable parameters, identify the relatives where research opportunities exist. The Research Progress reports are very useful for seeing the possibilities for creating reports that would narrow your research efforts.
GenDetective is an effective tool and is particularly useful when you get to a stage in your research when you want to pause and take stock before beginning another serious bout of research. And if you are fussy with your data, it is a great tool for helping you to "groom" the data every once in a while.
This new update also ads 18 more reports focused on personal research goals, working with birth and death indices, and a new census report. Additionally, l a source time line report has been added based upon user request.
GenDetectiveTM is a software program that identifies the gaps in your genealogy research and can create research itineraries for either online or trip-based research. For more information visit the RumbleSoft Incorporated website at www.gendetective.com.
