I cannot thank everyone who helped with this weekend's event but I do have to give special thanks to Lucinda Glover for her role of "hostess" to make sure that I had a hotel to stay in and places to eat.
The North Carolina Genealogical Society is a very active group that holds lots of seminars, publishes lots of material (including much of it on CD disks), and has a very active web site. If you live in North Carolina, or if you have North Carolina ancestry, I'd suggest you investigate joining this group. Take a look at http://www.ncgenealogy.org/.
